Precitec Protective Lens – D22.35 x T1.5 mm

A laser protective lens (protective window) is a sacrificial consumable mounted in the cutting head. It shields the expensive focusing and collimating optics from spatter, smoke, dust and high-pressure assist gas, keeping beam quality and cut consistency stable while cutting the cost of head maintenance.

Upper (collimation) window for ProCutter heads.

Key features

  • High-purity fused silica substrate with double-sided AR coating for 1064 nm
  • Transmittance above 99.5% and a coating damage threshold over 15 J/cm2
  • Precision-ground diameter and thickness for a play-free fit in the drawer
  • Low absorption to limit thermal focus shift at high power
  • Individually packed and inspected; drop-in replacement for OEM part numbers

Compatibility

Designed for Precitec laser cutting heads that use this exact window size. Upper (collimation) window for ProCutter heads. If your head has been upgraded or you are unsure, cross-reference the OEM part number or send us a photo of the old part and we will confirm before you order.

Installation & maintenance

  1. Upper (collimation) window: protects the collimating lens, replaced with the drawer cartridge.
  2. Lower (focus / process) window: the first barrier against spatter, replaced most often.
  3. Inspect every shift; replace at once on pitting, burn marks, haze, cracks or a sudden drop in cut quality.
  4. Handle by the edge only, clean with lint-free swabs and ethanol, and never wipe dry debris across the surface.
